Vista Configuration Help

There are a couple of settings to change in order to access the LMS and Parpull applications which run in the Secure Access Manager window.

In order for the Secure Access Manager to load you must turn off User Account Control.

You may have already disabled this feature as most Vista users find it to be an annoyance.

To accomplish this click Start/Control Panel/User Accounts, then click on Turn User Account Control on or off

UAC

Uncheck the “Use User Account Control to help protect your computer” box and click OK.

You will be prompted to reboot your computer in order to apply these changes.

To re-enable, simply reverse these actions.

Using Manager Home Access

Once rebooted, go to Manager Home Access launch page, enter your Login credentials, the Secure Access Manager is launched.

There is one anomaly with the launch in Vista: you will have to click the “click here to continue” link to get to the DiSH Login page (see below). We are currently working with the vendor to resolve the issue.
