Darden offers a variety of ways for students to enhance their education during and after college. In our restaurants, we offer restaurant management internships to college students pursuing hospitality degrees as well as full-time management opportunities for graduates starting as a Manager in Training (MIT).

Whether an Intern or MIT, you’ll put your hospitality education and previous work experience to great use as you rotate through hourly and management positions in both the front and back of house. As a developing leader in your restaurant, you’ll grow personally and professionally every step of the way. Darden Restaurants MBA Internships - Summer 2012
The Darden Restaurants Internship Program provides students an opportunity to work side by side with professionals and executives within one’s chosen field of Marketing or Finance, as well as gaining valuable hands-on experience.

As part of the internship program, participants will have the chance to meet and interact with key individuals and executives of the company. Also, a “Darden Buddy” will be assigned to provide one the opportunity to better understand the Darden company and culture.

In addition to the day to day work experience, participants will also be involved with projects that may impact our future business. Students will receive valuable feedback about their performance through a mid-point and final evaluation review.

Positions are located at our Restaurant Support Center in Orlando, Florida. Internships are a 12 week program beginning in late May/June. Candidates interested in applying must meet the minimum requirements and agree to the terms of the program.
