A LETTER FROM CLARENCE OTIS, JR., CEO
Darden Restaurants was built on a spirit of being of service to others — guests and employees alike. As our company has grown, so too has that spirit. Today it has moved far beyond the table we set for our guests and become an integral part of the way we do business. From volunteerism, commitment to diversity and improving the quality of life in the communities where we live and work, that spirit continues to blossom anew and grow.
New opportunities, such as a focused effort to help young people gain access to post-secondary education and increasing our sustainability efforts, have risen to the forefront. We’ve responded with actions and by challenging ourselves with new goals and benchmarks for success. Meanwhile, we continue the programs we have long championed that promote diversity, respect, fairness and inclusiveness.
Our tradition of sharing and our culture of being of service, combined with bold thinking, inspire us daily to do what is right.
We look forward to enhancing and expanding this vision and creating positive new traditions of caring, giving and doing.
Please celebrate these successes with us and join us as we bring more to the table.

Clarence Otis, Jr.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
