Robert Pesch was named Senior Vice President of Brand Operations for Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in May 2023. In this role, he leads operations for the brand’s three divisions, including more than 180 restaurants across 28 states.
Robert is a seasoned operator with more than 25 years in the industry. He has been with Cheddar’s since 2012, where he most recently served as Vice President of Culinary. Robert joined the Darden family with the Cheddar’s acquisition in 2017. Prior to Cheddar’s, he was Executive Chef for Hillstone Restaurant Group, leading the culinary initiatives for brands like R&D Kitchen, Bandera, The Rutherford Grill and Houston’s.
Robert graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. He recently earned a certification in Business Management from Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business.
